Eclipse Muscle Scraper

Best purchase I could have made. I got this as I am training for my marathon and wanted something to help with the recovery piece. I have also been recovering from a few injuries, so having this tool has been a HUGE help! I love that the bundle came with everything I needed and the packaging was great especially traveling to Sydney with it! 100% recommend this if you are logging miles and want to up your recovery game!

Love this tool. It’s helping me quite a bit with my plantar fasciitis. Easy to use. Would recommend. Wish I had gotten this tool sooner for relief.

Look, everything about this product screams expensive. Its solid, no corners cut, exceptionally nice case, well build piece of metal, cloth and roll on skin lube.What I dont get is the $120 list price (at the time of this review).Is it nice? Yeah.Does it work? Sure, it seems to.Is it ultimately a piece of metal with some lubrication you use to scrape your muscles to disperse any acid buildup? Yeah.I like the product and other than not being a huge fan of the roller libe (smells like a medicine cabinet, another one of their spray on lubes smelt like mints which was soooooooo much nicer.)If you can justify the price tag, maybe you are a serious athlete or a professional masseuse? This sure will impress with the quality and frills.Other than price (feels like $20-50 is nore appropriate to me) this would be a 5 star product. But maybe I am just a cheapskate?

Massage is always something I’ve been interested in, so I was excited to try this tool. I’m a runner and suffer from tight calves. A little bit of scraping post workout seems to help my recovery.The Sidekick Eclipse tool is a quality piece of equipment. It’s made from heavy, medical grade stainless steel and features an ergonomic handle. The curved handle of the tool fits nicely in the palm and it feels substantial when gripped. I find it easy to use on my calves and feet, but I’ve also been using it on my shoulders and hips (Sidekick has another tool for these parts of the body, but I don’t mind using the Eclipse).The Eclipse is packaged nicely and comes in a carrying case to protect it, along with a towel and roll on sports gel. The gel has a lightweight texture. It gives you that “icy-hot” feeling when applied. It has a slightly medicinal / minty fragrance. Sidekick also has a lot of informational posts and videos on their website along with a subscription based app.This tool is expensive, but it uses expensive materials. It’s not going to break or corrode over time. So yes, you could find a tool that’s less expensive and accomplish the same thing, but it may not have the same workmanship. To me, this feels like a very professional device. I’m giving this 4 stars - it’s a quality product that works well, but the price is high.

Significant pain and nerve damage relief!

I had bad shin splints that weren’t improving even after a few weeks off. I noticed a change after the very first time scraping. It isn’t the same as using the back of a butter knife, it’s much better!

I had always benefitted from the muscle scraper when I would go to my physical therapist. So I figured it would be a good idea to try one at home. This tool has been a game changer 🤩 My plantar fasciitis has been SO much better. Calves, quads, and IT bands have also reaped the benefits of this tool. Highly recommend it!

It ok,Needs to be heavier on end

The shape of the eclipse is perfect for those smaller areas of your body that can only be reached using one hand- the side of your neck, your glutes and lower back.

The Eclipse is a fantastic tool. I am finding it very easy to use. It is comfortable to hold and it feels great on my feet and calf muscles. The user manual/guidebook is a great resource to have on hand as well. It’s nice to have an “offline” resource in addition to the online videos etc.
