It is a learning curve for certain, but once you learn how to properly utilize Gua Sha Tool, you are guaranteed to have it forever. Now if I can teach my wife (#defundmywife ) how to use it on me (big smile). It will be more than worth the money I paid for it. I'm going to have to get more of the glide lubricant that it came with as that works very well also to prevent the obvious burning of the skin that can happen when scrapping.Between this and using my cups to glide across fascia knots and aching muscles, it reduces the number of trips I have to take to my LMP and A.R.T., who keep this old body up and running. Great investment for self care.

I think it's a great product.

I’m an average runner who typically runs 30+ miles per week, and have a history of ankle injuries from basketball and soccer. This too has helped me break up scar tissue in my ankles and allows me to run pain-free. Before getting this tool, I used random things to scrape my ankles and calves. I would say the biggest upgrade from using random objects is definitely the amount of leverage and comfort while using the tool. Durability and quality is great, and I would highly recommend to anyone who’s having pains and makes running and lifting a life goal.

This offers as a premium presentation, with a quality case and well crafted stainless steel gua sha. The gua sha scraper is a good size, with reasonable heft. It’s composed of high quality stainless steel, with the flat surfaces having a matte-like texture. This allows for sure handling, being less slippery than a mirror finish (especially if you’re using massage oil). The contour does have that mirror finish, with very smooth aspects. This is appropriate for a scraping massage. Also, at either end, there are rounded ‘corners’ that can be utilized for acupressure or muscle trigger points.Considering the quality of design, materials, construction and accessories, this has a professional and premium product. It also carries a premium cost: $95. (Although, there is a current 20% discount coupon that lowers the price to $76. It’s a more reasonable price point, but still a costly gua sha.)The gua sha does have the company logo etched into the surface. I’m not a fan of corporate branding on massage products, especially when the product is costly. But, it doesn’t impact the functionality of the gua sha. And, there are no accompanying burrs or nicks associated with the inscribed logo.Overall, it’s an excellent stainless steel gua sha, with a quality storage/travel case. It garners a 4.5+ star rating.
