I have been using the axis board pro for just over a week since i started getting numbness in my arch and achy pain in my foot and tib ant when running.
The app makes it super easy to break progressions down and do a little each day toward improvement, and it’s so fun to use! Highly recommended!
Sidekick axisboards have resurrected my running game. First with the original wooden version and now via the much improved Pro edition. I no longer wait for injuries to flare up I use my axis boards...yes both daily. I've lost nearly a year with achilles tendonopathy pain so rather than wait to the next flair up I am in prevention mode every day. With axis boards its the best 3-10 mins of my day.
Using it for my Achilles rehab, pain relief in just as little as a session. Must have for any athletic !
I love being able to adjust the pegs to get different movements in. The included book was helpful and the videos in the app made this very easy to start using.
This has been immensely helpful in reducing pain in my Achilles tendons. I had been almost immobile before purchasing this out of desperation. I do wish the platform was softer or cushioned. Also, I see pictures of the older version that had straight bars for adjusting underwear, rather than the plastic pegs. I would have liked a design more like that, so I’m not constantly pulling out and trying to push in these little plastic pieces. Overall, great product.
I'm recovering from an Achilles rupture, and building back strength in all of the many foot and calf muscles that atrophied has been a challenge. The Sidekick balance board has really helped me to target and strengthen those muscles.
Absolutely amazing! This is like a workout for my foot/ankle. I’m a week in and can tell it’s forcing all the little muscles in my foot to work. Highly recommend.
Great product for strengthening and easing pain! Easy to remove and attach pieces for seamless transitions!
Love it! It has been helping me out a lot with my ankle injury. I have seen improvements and can’t wait to use it more.
I am rehabbing through a calf injury and I found regular step heights challenging for my injury. The step helped me
Increase the height of my step downs. The added handles helped assist the movement while the muscles were still weak. This was perfect to quickly set
A new height challenge without trying to find household items the exact height/. Solid construction and easy to change heights for various exercises.was also a perfect transition to my strength training phase.
So farI am really benefiting from the ladder pod. I will continue to learn more asI go.
Love the LadderPod. It's so stable and is great for knee rehab.
I purchased the Echo and I LOVE this tool !!
Live that it’s Canadian and works very well at supporting my recovery from an ankle injury .
Great customer service !!!
What an amazing yet simple piece of equipment. One wouldn’t think that so much could be improved from just daily use of balancing on it and rocking. I love how simple and straight forward the app is, I did notice some configurations seem like they might be a bit off but you can always refer back to the book as needed. I’ve not had it for 2 weeks and already feels sort of my ankle and foot working that I didn’t realizing were not as strong as I thought. I wish that there was something similar that could help shoulders as this is definitely going to be a stable in my mobility routine going forward.
this product was recommended to me because i have mobility issues following foot surgery years prior… i haven’t had the products long, but so far i really love being able to stretch my ankle in ways that aren’t always easy - i love all the ways you can configure the AxisBoard Pro Balance Board and the reference materials and app are sooo helpful!
A few weeks into routine and it's definitely strengthening my foot, focusing on my Achilles.
Such a versatile tool for ankle strength and flexibility. It’s early days yet, but I know this will be a valuable addition to my massage practise for helping with rehabilitation from many injuries, and an asset for strengthening and preventative maintenance.
I am very pleased with this product. I got the AsixBoard Pro and have used it every day since I got it to help with Planer Facias and to strengthen my ankles for long distance running and hiking from my home.
Very stable step to help with a double knee replacement.
Great training tool for balance and proprioception!
This has helped my plantar fasciitis immensely. I am so glad my Physical Therapist recommended it.
Heel Hero FTW!
I have had a couple years of plantar faciitus, and also achilles tendinopathy from too much running and years of gymnastics. Heel Hero had a very easy to follow guide so it was very easy to get started and do the exercises correctly. Plus the build quality feels very top notch!
This device is so sturdy and targets the toe extension well. As a physio, this was a great add at the clinic and also to treat my own plantar fasciitis.
Use it for my sprained ankle. My right ankles sprained twice in the past year, looked for ways to strengthening it. The different configurations of the board combined with single foot balance exercise are really helpful!
I’ve been really impressed with the Axis Pro Balance Board so far. One of the biggest advantages is how easy and convenient it is to set up compared to traditional Velcro-based balance boards. There’s no fiddling or readjusting mid-session, which makes it much more enjoyable to use consistently.
I also have very tight ankles—especially on my left side due to a past fracture—and I’ve already noticed improvements after just a few sessions. My big toe, ankle, and overall foot mobility feel more engaged and responsive, which is a huge win for both training and injury prevention.
That said, there is one downside. The rubber spacer between the two pieces can be a bit tricky to keep in place, which interrupts the flow slightly when it shifts around.
Overall, it’s a well-designed and effective tool that delivers real results quickly. With a small improvement to the spacer design, it would be close to perfect.
