Very sturdy unit and great quality .
I’ve been using it for a week now and starting to really feel the benefits.
I also use the sidekick stability unit, my ankles are feeling stronger and more stable.
I had a lingering injury that wouldn't go away until I started using the AxisBoard Pro. It’s much more effective than a basic slant board because it forces you to build balance and real strength. The training guide is simple to follow, and after a week of use, I'm finally feeling much better - this just works
I'm onto my second piece just so that I can keep one in the gym and the other in the office. AxisBoard has been an essential part of my feet getting back to strength and supporting my overall fitness. Can't recommend it enough!
I was curious about the AxisBoard Pro and was hoping it would help me with my foot and ankle pain. I am a fitness coach who plays ball hockey on the weekends. After reading the reviews and hearing positive reviews from colleagues in the fitness industry, I decided to invest. After only 2 weeks, I can now get through the day without my feet having searing pain when I’m coaching my last session or when I am driving home. Also, my ankles are recovering noticeably quicker. I recommended it to a teammate on my ball hockey team and I recommend it to those reading this.
I had been using standard resistance bands for rehab from a lateral ankle band, but I received these toe bands for free as part of a bundle purchase. I'm so glad I have them! They are definitely an upgrade. I only wish they included a heavier resistance option.
so glad i picked this up! It did wonders for my chronic ankle pain and I love the guided rehab exercises available through the app. Well worth the investment.
I’ve dealt with chronic ankle sprains over the years and this has been a big help in eliminating those!
this device and book address foot ankle issue that may also have calf implications ...it's used to stretch and perhaps strengthen areas that even address knee and hip stuff ...it is constructed of sturdy plastic and metal which isn't as fragile as another device I use...you need to be aware of moving parts carelessly can end up pinching so know what you want to do to avoid surprises ...their books are very informative and have routines to try ...kudos to those on their team that have added books to the tools
I've only been using it for two weeks but I can already feel that this will have a positive impact in my running training plan.
the pro version of this device is holding up better than the first version which quickly broke...and their replacement broke even quicker despite me treating it like China because of the first one ...the issue was the thread breaking off that connects the two platforms...the pro uses a thin rubber connection ...thin....I fear it too may be suspectable but so far I'm treating it like I would treat holding the original us constitution ...the book is priceless as it gives a comprehensive break down of various foot injuries or syndromes and applicable exercises ...that's worth 20 bucks easily in today's inflated book prices ...so if you got the first one ..or slightly reinforced second version....it's worth it to duplicate to this third version ...kinda like when a band reissued an old cd with a bonus CD of live versions ...it sucks to pay again but
I began to get stiffness around my achilles in late February. I'm planning a big hike in the UK in May, so I didn't want this to develop into something that would linger for months like it has in the past. I wasn't able to order the tool right away as I was traveling for 3 months. The axis board arrived last week and I began using it daily. Miraculously, the pain is almost gone and so has the stiffness! I showed the tool to my physical therapist who gave it 2 thumbs up. As an instructor of self myofascial release classes, I will be recommending to my students who suffer from foot and ankle problems.
As a Physical Therapist I am impressed by the LadderPods flexibility and durability to do a large variety of stretching and strengthening exercises for hips and knees.
Great products and service. Coming from Achilles surgery these have really helped get me back to full speed
I had arthroscopic ankle surgery for arthritis and Achilles tendon lengthening. Sidekick is the perfect aid for strengthening and stretching my ankle tendons and muscles, all from the convenience of home. I belong to a gym but there's not as much equipment that can target specific areas of the foot like Sidekick can. I'm looking forward to moving through my customized program in the app which is really easy to follow and convenient to use. I'm confident that Sidekick will help maintain and improve my mobility in the long run.
Started using the board last week for strengthening and recovery and so far so good! The guide is super helpful as it has exercises to target different muscles and is very easy to follow.
It's a great alternative for when I don't have time to ice right after exercising which happens often with work and busy kids.
I ended up with posterior tibialis tendinitis from running a little too much and the axis board has made a real difference. Using the board for a few minutes every day has helped strengthen the affected muscles so much that my condition is well on the way to being healed.
The set comes with a fantastic guide for all sorts of injuries and makes targeting the right muscles a breeze. Not only that but it's actually a fun challenge to use - so much so that I'm going to use it for general foot and ankle strength in the future. Every keen sports-person should have one of these!
I'm about 2 weeks in and I think it's making a real impact on my plantar fasciitis recovery.
Have only used a couple of times so far but can already feel my ankles getting stronger. Lots of configuration options to try and the guidebook is handy.
I'm a dancer in my late 30's that walks around in 7 inch heels all the time - my co-worker sprained her ankle recently and that's what led me to find this tool - I will be using it to strengthen my ankles and hopefully prevent a major injury!
Just had an ankle reconstructed and after years of ankle injuries this is by far the best rehab tool I’ve owned. I love how you can isolate specific areas to work on and even better it’s the most portable piece of rehab equipment.
Absolutely love this product
I feel like the board is helping me get stronger! A bit complex, but well worth learning the ins and outs of the board.
Got this on sale. Seems good so far. Just need to get into the habit of using it.
