Frequently Asked Questions

Is it normal to get bright red spots after using the tool?

Yes, absolutely! This is called Petechiae and is the blood leaking into your skin (for that reason, we strongly suggest that your tools and skin are cleaned thoroughly before and after use).

The redness is a good sign and indicates that an area needs to be worked on. After redness occurs, if you continue working on that area, it can become purple like a bruise. We do not recommend getting to this point.

I dropped my Curve and it broke, can you send a replacement?

The Curve is made of stone so is fragile and can break if dropped. For that reason we created the carry case to protect it from damage. Unfortunately we do not have any warranty on accidental damage. We recommend purchasing the Echo as that is built with stainless steel so it's much more durable and can withstand drops.

Why are there white lines on my stone?

The white lines that you see are part of the natural stone characteristics. Each piece may look slightly different (in terms of the lines) because of it's natural characteristics, and unfortunately we cannot do much about that without changing the material. The good news is that it doesn't have any effect on the product or application :)
