Should I buy the Curve or Echo?

Curve and Echo

As one of the most frequent questions we get from new customers, we wanted to breakdown the differences between the two so you can make an informed purchase.

To clarify, both products are based on the same concept and applied the same way. They are both very effective and both come with a lubricant (one in balm form, and the other in spray form).

There are some key features that separate the two however.

  1. Material: The Echo is built with stainless steel, so is extremely durable. You don't have to worry about dropping or breaking it. The Curve on the other hand is made of Stone, so it's fragile and can break if dropped. The stone should be handled with care.
  2. Grip: The Echo has a patent pending grip which makes it much easier on your hands and fingers to hold. Typically when you scrape your muscles, you will apply an oil based solution on the skin to act as a lubricant. This will often make the tool very slippery and tiring on your hands if it did not have the grip.
  3. Shareable: The Echo is non porous so it can be shared with friends and family, whereas the Curve is porous because it's made of stone.

No grip

Design patent pending grip. This makes it more comfortable to hold and less tiring on your fingers

Usage

Recommended to be used on yourself since the material is porous

Can be used on multiple people since it’s not porous

Includes a lubricating spray

Weight

130g. This is a moderate weight that asserts pressure on the skin without needing to push against it with your hands.

260g. Twice as heavy as the Curve which makes it easier to apply.

In conclusion, the Curve is a great option, however it must be handled with care since it’s made of fragile stone. A small drop can cause it to chip or shatter. If you are careful with it though, this can be a very effective and affordable option.

On the other hand, the Echo is built to last a lifetime with its stainless steel material. It has a patent pending grip, which makes it very comfortable in your hands. With the Echo, you won’t ever have to buy another scraping tool again.
